What are Vinyl Decals?
A material that is made very thin and flexible. The backing has a light adhesive to be easily installed on any smooth non-porus surface.

How do I apply Vinyl Decals?
We include detailed and step-by-step written and pictured instructions.

What types of surfaces can your Vinyl be applied to?
Our Vinyl can be applied to any clean, smooth, and non-porus surface. They can be applied to heavily textured surfaces, brick, stucco, concrete, or rock like surfaces.

Do Vinyl Quote’s or Designs come with a background?
No. Vinyl lettering you received (unless noted) will NOT contain any background. Vinyl lays on a backing paper as individual letters to be adhered to your surface. Lettering will not be individually applied however. It will arrive in one full piece as shown in picture displayed.

Is the Vinyl removable and reusable?
Our Vinyl is removable but NOT reusable.

Do I need to order a squeegee/application tool to apply my Vinyl?
No. It’s not necessary to having a vinyl tool. You can use any flat edge devise to apply your decal. Such as a credit card or spatula.

How do I remove the Vinyl?
The best way to remove vinyl is to warm up the glue by using a hair dryer in a medium heat. Use your fingernail and pull an edge of the vinyl and remove.

How do I pay for my order?
We accept all credit cards and PayPal.

Can I return my order?
We accept returns on unused vinyl quotes or designs.

We do not accept returns on Personalized or Custom decals.
Contact us with your return and we will give you the address to return the order. The order must be shipped in the same package it arrived in, or something similar. The decal must not be folded. The decal must be exactly as it had arrived.

It must be shipped USPS Priority or First Class with Tracking. This will ensure both parties that the decal had arrived safely to it’s destination. Once the decal as arrived, it will be inspected and you will then be contacted that the decal has arrived in either Unused or Damaged condition. We will refund the amount of the decal only. Shipping will not be refunded or reimburse to or from.

If you are having a problem with your decal and think it’s defective, you will be expected to send a picture of the decal in it’s current condition for us help you or to approve your replacement or refund.
We hold any right to deny any return that is not authorized by us first. We hold any right to deny any return that is inspected and seems to not be in the original condition when ordered.

What are your Hours of Operation?
We are open 24 hours a day in terms of ordering at anytime.
Customer service and Production is open from 9am – 5pm CT Monday through Friday.
Our office is closed Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on all major holidays.
Vacation notice will be displayed on store front with our return date.

How long will it take to process my order?
We get all orders out within 3 to 5 business days. We do not hold inventory, all decals are cut and assembled when ordered. During holidays can take up to 1 week to process.
Processing time does not include shipping time.

Shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping in the United States:
USPS Economy Shipping with Tracking: 3 – 7 day delivery.
USPS Priority 3 day delivery with Tracking and Insurance, each additional items at No Cost.
Shipping International: We do no currently ship International at this time.

I can’t get my decal to transfer to my surface, any suggestions?
The surface you are putting it on needs to be very clean. Do NOT clean with Windex, this solution will leave a residue that can break down the adhesive on the vinyl. Make sure there is no dust or any residue on the wall before applying. Cigarette smoke residue can cause application problems, the surface must be cleaned properly with water and a rag only. Make sure the surface is fully dry before applying.
When removing the transfer tape, use your finger and press firmly on the lettering giving the lettering a bit of help with the application. If the surface is completely smooth you should not have any problem.

My decal is stuck to the backing paper, any suggestions?
This can sometimes happen during shipping, with weather and humidity. You’ll need to prep your decal before applying.
Lay the decal face up with the design facing you and squeegee firmly all the lettering across the decal.
Flip the decal over face down where the backing paper faces up on your table and begin at the bottom left corner and SLOWLY pull at an angle, not outwards. SLOWLY pull the backing paper away from the front masking, ensure the vinyl is sticking to the transfer tape and not the backing paper. If you see any vinyl coming up and sticking to the backing paper, lay the backing paper back down in that area and use your finger to rub the letter/design back on to the front masking tape.
SLOWLY is the key. Continue to remove the backing paper from the whole decal until the decal has successfully transferred to the front masking.
Once this is done, you can continue the application process from the instructions given.

My package was damaged in shipping, what do I do?
We are not responsible or liable for any orders that were damaged during shipping. However we will help you with your decal when you send us photo’s to help you. You would need to address this issue with you postal service and make a claim with them.

Return Policy:
Off the Wall Vinyl Decor has a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your non personalized decal, you may return the unused decal to us within 30 days of placing your order. You may then choose to exchange your decal or receive a refund for your order (less shipping).

Returns are not available for decal which have already been applied. If, however, a letter or two has been damaged during application, we will send the replacement letter(s) at no charge. (If the damage was caused by negligence on your part, we reserve the right to bill you for shipping.)

If during application you feel that your decal is defective, you may be required to return the decal, or send a photo showing the defect/problems you encountered. This will help us prevent the same problems from occurring again.

Returns are not available for Personalized Decals, or custom order designed by us for you. (Except in cases of defective product or errors on our part). Please design accordingly. Double (and triple) check for spelling, punctuation and capitalization errors, and measure your space to ensure it will fit. If you are needing specific colors, please order a sample swatch of our vinyl to ensure you match correctly.
